About Us

As a qualified engineer, Adam started his career in structural steel working on some of Melbourne's major infrastructure projects.  His involvement with office furniture began with the creation of Stronghold in 2001, a manufacturer of steel office furniture and storage systems in Melbourne.  In 2012 Adam formed a partnership to acquire AMD, our affiliated laminated furniture manufacturing business.  Since then, Adam's considerable commercial experience and technical skills have helped AMD and Stronghold gain the reputation as a valuable manufacturing partner in the Melbourne commercial fit out industry.

After Nick graduated from Mechanical Engineering, he began his career in the automotive parts industry in quality assurance. He has been involved in manufacturing in Melbourne for over 20 years and is a technical and creative resource our clients rely on to design and manufacture top quality, functional components and steel solutions.

Jay joined the Stronghold team in 2011 and is responsible for the programming and output of our laser cutting and punching equipment.  With many design and tooling qualifications, Jay can take your project from a concept to completion.

As the first point of contact for many of our customers, Doris is an integral part of the framework that makes Stronghold the customer focused business it is.  Her experience and knowledge of our products gained through over 15 years in our business means that you have the right person to answer your questions all the time.

Jade joined the Stronghold team in 2014.  Having gained experience in aligned manufacturing businesses in Melbourne, Jade assists to keep our production and deliveries on schedule while also managing a busy administration function.

Part of the ownership group at Stronghold, Suzie has used her sales, marketing and finance experience to strengthen the position of both Stronghold and our laminate partner AMD Commercial Furniture in the marketplace.
